Step 1

Please take a moment to read through and then sign our Family Handbook.

California

Step 2

After reading and signing our Family Handbook please take a moment to fill-out and sign our Enrollment Agreement.

You are covered under The Wild Path Christian Homeschool Academy, a Private School Satellite Program (PSP) in California, registered annually through the California Department of Education (CDE) via the Private School Affidavit (PSA) in accordance with California Education Code §33190.

  • You do not need to file a Private School Affidavit (PSA).

  • Your child is considered enrolled in a Private School Satellite Program (PSP) (The Wild Path Christian Homeschool Academy).

  • We will maintain all required records, including:

    • PSA confirmation

    • Attendance (required: 175 days/year, averaging 4+ hours/day)

    • Faculty List

    • Course of Study

    • Student Enrollment and Cumulative Files

    • Transcripts and Grades

    • Immunization Records or Waiver Documentation

  • You must submit accurate and complete monthly attendance, learning period progress grades, and work samples to the Academy on time.

  • You are still responsible for providing instruction in required subjects as defined by California homeschool law (e.g., language arts, math, science, social studies, fine arts, physical education).

Step 3

Once you have signed both our Family Handbook and Enrollment Agreement please submit them.

Multi-State Academy

Step 4

Now that you have submitted your signed Family Handbook and Enrollment agreement, head to Enrolled Families and finish your enrollment.

Colorado

You are covered under Colorado’s private umbrella school option.

  • You do not need to file a Notice of Intent (NOI) with your local school district.

  • Your child is considered enrolled in a private school (The Wild Path Christian Homeschool Academy).

  • We will maintain all required records, including:

    • Attendance (required: 172 days/year, averaging 4+ hours/day)

    • Progress reports and report cards

    • Curriculum documentation

  • You must submit accurate and complete monthly attendance, learning period progress grades, and work samples to the Academy on time.

  • You are still responsible for providing instruction in required subjects as defined by Colorado homeschool law (e.g., United States Constitution, reading, writing, speaking, math, history, civics, literature, and science).

Louisiana

You are operating under either the Non-Public School (not seeking state approval) or the BESE Approved Home Study option. The Academy supports both pathways.

If using the Non-Public School option (not seeking state approval):
*recommended until High School

  • We will notify the LDOE annually that your child is enrolled in a private school (i.e., The Wild Path Christian Homeschool Academy).

  • You do not need to seek curriculum approval.

  • You must submit accurate and complete monthly attendance, learning period progress grades, and work samples to the Academy on time.

  • The Academy will provide transcripts, attendance logs (required: 180 days/year), and reports to support your compliance.

  • You are still responsible for providing instruction in required subjects as defined by Louisiana homeschool law (including the Declaration of Independence in elementary school, and The Federalist Papers in high school).

If using the BESE Approved Home Study option:

  • You must submit your annual Home Study application to LDOE and renew it annually.

  • You will need to provide LDOE with records such as curriculum, progress reports, and attendance logs (required: 180 days/year). The Academy will provide these records for your use.

  • You must still submit accurate and complete monthly attendance, learning period progress grades, and work samples to the Academy on time.

  • You are still responsible for providing instruction in required subjects as defined by Louisiana homeschool law (including the Declaration of Independence in elementary school, and The Federalist Papers in high school).
