Helping Hands Colorado

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. . . . Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.”
— Matthew 25:35-40

Serving hearts. Feeding souls. Walking in love. — A ministry of The Wild Path Christian Homeschool Academy

Helping Hands is a response to the Gospel—a way for our students, families, and community to live out the love of Christ in real, tangible ways.
Let’s raise up a generation that doesn’t just learn the Word—they live it.

When we lived in California, God stirred our hearts for those often unseen—our unhoused neighbors in need of not just food and shelter, but dignity, compassion, and connection. Through our Helping Hands Ministry, we partnered with the Showered With Love mobile shower bus to provide hot meals at one of their weekly shower locations—a simple act of service that carried the deep love of Christ.

When we moved to Colorado, we carried that mission with us in our hearts.

Now, with the launch of The Wild Path Christian Homeschool Academy, we’re relaunching Helping Hands as our official Colorado ministry outreach—giving students, families, and our community the opportunity to put faith into action by serving those in need.

What We Do

Helping Hands Colorado provides hot meals, care, and compassionate connection to the unhoused community. We aim to set up at established community spaces to serve warm, homemade food with dignity and love.

We’re currently in the process of securing a Colorado location—and as soon as that’s confirmed, we’ll begin hosting regular outreach days.

Involvement & Volunteer Opportunities

Helping Hands is more than a meal—it’s a ministry of presence, compassion, and love in action.

Whether you’re a student, parent, or community member, there’s a place for you to serve.

Volunteers of all ages are invited to:

  • Help prepare weekly warm meals

  • Join us at outreach events and help serve

  • Donate ingredients, food, clothing, hygiene items, and other supplies

  • Help us collect and organize donations

  • Offer encouragement, prayer, and a listening ear

For students enrolled in The Wild Path Christian Homeschool Academy, participation may also count toward volunteer hours required for graduation.
